Thomas Case (cricketer, born 1844)

Thomas Case (b Liverpool 14 July 1844 – d Falmouth 31 October 1925)[1] was an English academic, philosopher, sportsman and author.

[3] Case was also a first-class cricketer (active 1864–1869) who played for Oxford University and Middlesex.

[6][7] He married Elizabeth Donn (1848–1927), the daughter of composer William Sterndale Bennett and he was buried on 4 November in Wolvercote cemetery, near Oxford.
