Thomas Holding

Holding (25 January 1880 – 4 May 1929) was a British-born stage and film actor.

Born in England in 1880, Holding possibly had an extensive stage career in his native Britain before arriving in the United States.

[citation needed] He was popular in American silent films during the World War I years.

His first films were in several features starring the actress Pauline Frederick.

Holding died in 1929 of a heart attack in his dressing room while acting on Broadway according to Variety of 8 May 1929.
