Thomas Joseph Drury

Thomas Joseph Drury DD LHD (January 4, 1908 – July 22, 1992) was an Irish-born prelate of the Roman Catholic Church.

[1] He was ordained a priest by Archbishop Robert Lucey for the Diocese of Amarillo on June 2, 1935, after immigrating to the United States.

[1] Drury was appointed bishop of the Diocese of San Angelo on October 30, 1961, by Pope John XXIII.

[1] On July 19, 1965, Drury was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Corpus Christi by Pope Paul VI.

[2] Drury created a Diocesan Pastoral Council to advise him on current issues in the diocese.
