Thompson Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania

The Florence Shelly Preserve is a protected area along Route 171 in Thompson Township.

[5] It was named for Susquehanna County associate judge William Thompson.

[6] As of the census[8] of 2010, there were 410 people, 195 households, and 120 families residing in the township.

There were 369 housing units at an average density of 16.8 per square mile (6.5/km2).

34.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
