The Illyrians (Ancient Greek: Ἰλλυριοί, Illyrioi; Latin: Illyrii) were a group of Indo-European speaking peoples, who inhabited the western Balkan Peninsula in ancient times.
They constituted one of the three main Paleo-Balkan populations, along with the Thracians and Greeks.
