Tipton Township, Cass County, Indiana

As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,304 (down from 2,490 at 2010[4]) and contained 1,011 housing units.

[5] It was named for Indiana Senator John Tipton.

[6] Pipe Creek Falls Resort was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

[7] Tipton Township covers an area of 40.77 square miles (105.6 km2); 0.14 square miles (0.36 km2) (0.34 percent) of this is water.

The township contains five cemeteries: Bowyer, Little Deer Creek, Shaff, Venard and Walton.
