Robert Todd Schlopy (born June 17, 1961) is a motion picture cameraman and former American football placekicker.
Schlopy played college football for the Michigan Wolverines from 1981 to 1984 where he was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten placekicker.
[1] As a Western New York native, Schlopy, a barefoot placekicker, signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills in 1985.
[2] A highly sought-after free agent, Schlopy again signed with Buffalo in 1987 feeling that was his best opportunity to win a job.
[4] [6] His son, Alex Schlopy, is a freeskier who won a gold medal at the 2011 Winter X Games in the big air contest.
