Tomás Ó Flatharta is a Gaelic football manager who is originally from County Kerry.
Ó Flatharta resigned as manager in July 2009 after Westmeath were beaten in the qualifiers by neighbours Meath.
[1][2] When appointed as Westmeath manager Ó Flatharta was a banker based in Dublin and had been team trainer and selector during the previous two years.
[3] In October 2010, Ó Flatharta was confirmed as the new Galway manager to succeed former Armagh player Joe Kernan, who resigned early in the summer after a poor season.
[6] Following the departure of Justin McNulty, Ó Flatharta was drafted in as favourite for the vacant Laois job.
