Tomé Ferreira da Silva (born 17 May 1961) was a Roman Catholic prelate and is a priest in the Latin Rite.

He was Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of São José do Rio Preto from 16 November 2012 until 18 August 2021.

He also completed undergraduate courses in social studies and history at the Vale do Rio Verde University, in Três Corações.

[2][3] He received his episcopal ordination in the city of Cristina on 13 May of that same year,[2][3] at the hands of Bishop Cláudio Hummes.

[citation needed] On 26 September 2012 he was named by Pope Benedict XVI to the diocesan bishop of Sao Jose do Rio Preto.
