Thomas Morris Mitchell (30 September 1899 – 22 November 1984) was an English professional footballer and manager.
[2] Mitchell scored York's first goal at Bootham Crescent in a 2–2 draw with Stockport County on 31 August 1932.
[4] He resigned in February 1950 and set up a family sport outfitter's shop in York.
[4] Tom Mitchell played the 1936 season for the newly formed Leeds Oaks baseball club in the inaugural season of the Yorkshire Baseball League.
