Tonari no 801-chan is narrated by Tibet (チベット, Chibetto), otherwise known as Tibe-kun (チベ君, Chibe-kun), a twenty-eight-year-old company employee and boyfriend to Yaoi, otherwise known as Yaoi-chan (801ちゃん).
