Tony Ryall

Anthony Boyd Williams Ryall CNZM (born 19 November 1964) is a former New Zealand politician.

He was born in Christchurch and educated in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and graduated Bachelor of Business Studies (Accounting and Finance) from Massey University.

[2][7][8] Along with the Minister of Finance, Ryall oversaw National's government share offer programme, which yielded $4.7b from the partial sale of three state-owned electricity generators and Air New Zealand.

[9] Ryall was appointed a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services as a Member of Parliament, in the 2015 New Year Honours.

[10] Ryall joined law firm Simpson Grierson in November 2014 as head of its public policy practice.
