Tony Wilt

He currently represents[update] the 34th district, made up of the city of Harrisonburg and part of Rockingham County in the Shenandoah Valley.

[1][2] Born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Wilt graduated from Broadway High School in 1979.

[1][2] After high school, Wilt went to work for his family's business, Superior Concrete, Inc.

[1][2] On March 16, 2010, Governor Bob McDonnell appointed the 26th district incumbent, Matt Lohr, Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

He defeated Democrat Kai E. Degner and independent Carolyn W. Frank in a special election on June 15, receiving 65.79% of the vote.
