[1][2] Gyeongbokgung Palace is the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty, located on Jongno District, with an area of 343,888 m2.

It was founded in 1395 (the 4th year of King Taejo's reign).

Construction began in 1969 and the observation deck was completed in 1975.

In 2000, It was acquired by YTN, a news television station.
