Tracy Tormé

Tracy Tormé (April 12, 1959 – January 4, 2024)[1] was an American screenwriter and television producer, known for his work on the science fiction series Sliders and Star Trek: The Next Generation,[2] and the film Fire in the Sky.

[3] Later in the decade, he was a story editor and writer on the first two seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation, but left over creative differences.

[3] In 1991 with Barry Oringer, Tormé wrote the screenplay for the miniseries Intruders which ran on CBS in May 1992.

[3] Tormé was nominated for the 1993 Saturn Award for Best Writing for his screenplay on the film Fire in the Sky.

[3] Tormé died of complications from diabetes in Escondido, California, on January 4, 2024, at the age of 64.
