Troy, Texas

Troy is a city in Bell County, Texas, United States.

[4] The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.

It replaced an older village about two miles north of the current city and which is referred to as Old Troy.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 2,375 people, 981 households, and 755 families residing in the city.

As of the census[3] of 2000, 1,378 people, 508 households, and 394 families resided in the city.

About 21.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
