Tullylish

Tullylish (from Irish Tulaigh Lis, meaning 'hillock of the fort')[1][2] is a small village, townland (of 513 acres) and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland.

It sits on the River Bann, along the main road between the towns of Banbridge and Portadown.

It lies within the civil parish of Tullylish and Banbridge District.

Lawrencetown is home to Tullylish G.A.A club, which was originally known as 'St.

The civil parish is mainly within the historic barony of Iveagh Lower, Upper Half with one townland (Tullyrain) in the barony of Iveagh Lower, Lower Half.
