[1] In September 2018, he joined Italian club Giorgione Calcio as an assistant coach along with Gert Remmel and Iikka Miettinen, specializing in video and statistical analyses.
[6] On 8 November 2023, it was announced that Silvennoinen was appointed in the coaching staff of Veikkausliiga club AC Oulu, with Rauno Ojanen and Mikko Viitsalo, on a two-year deal, starting in 2024 season.
[7][8][9][10] Due to his lack of UEFA Pro -coaching license, Silvennoinen is not eligible to work solely as a head coach in Veikkausliiga.
