Turnau is a market town at the foot of the Hochschwab in the Styrian District of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag.

Turnau has five boroughs: Turnau, Göriach, Seewiesen, Stübming, and Thal.

Turnau's mayor is Stefan Hofer of the SPÖ.
