Turritriton gibbosus is a species of predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cymatiidae.
[1] (Described as Cymatium adairense) The length of the shell measures 33 mm.
The color of the shell is pale brownish, somewhat darker on the prominences.
These spirals are numerous, close set, flat, strap-like cords, separated by narrower, sharp grooves and crossed by many subequally spaced sharp axial sulci.
This species occurs in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico; off Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador.
