Tutor Key is an unincorporated community in Johnson County, Kentucky, United States [1] about 4.5 miles northeast of Paintsville.
On July 3, 1897, the first post office opened in what is now Tutor Key.
Beginning in the late 1930s, Mingo began having problems with mail being accidentally sent to Wingo, which is a city in Graves County, Kentucky.
