The 22nd federal electoral district of Veracruz (Distrito electoral federal 22 de Veracruz) is a defunct federal electoral district of the Mexican state of Veracruz.
Votes cast in this district also counted towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the country's electoral regions.
[3] Along with the 23rd district, it was dissolved in the Federal Electoral Institute's 2005 redistricting process because the state's population no longer warranted 23 districts.
[4] In its final form (1996–2005), the district's head town (cabecera distrital), where results from individual polling stations were gathered together and tallied, was at the port city of Coatzacoalcos in the south of the state.
Its head town was at San Andrés Tuxtla and it covered the municipalities of Ángel R. Cabada, José Azueta, Lerdo de Tejada, Saltabarranca, San Andrés Tuxtla, Santiago Tuxtla and Tlacotalpan.
