Tyrell Joseph Richards (born October 7, 1998) is a Canadian professional football linebacker for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
After using a redshirt year in 2017, Richards played college football for the Syracuse Orange from 2018 to 2020.
[2] Richards was ranked as the third best player in the Canadian Football League's Amateur Scouting Bureau final rankings for players eligible in the 2022 CFL Draft.
[4] On May 13, 2022, it was announced that Richards had signed his rookie contract with the Alouettes.
[6] In 2023, he played in 11 regular season games, sitting out seven due to injury, and had ten defensive tackles, 11 special teams tackles, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
