Tzamplakon family

The Tzamplakon family (Greek: Τζαμπλάκων, plural Τζαμπλάκωνες) was an aristocratic family whose members were active in the Byzantine Empire,[1][2] the Principality of Theodoro,[3] the Republic of Venice,[3] the Second Bulgarian Empire,[4] the Principality of Moldavia,[3][4][5] the Serbian Despotate,[4] the Grand Duchy of Lithuania,[4] and the Principality of Kiev.
