The club's home colours are green and white, and their nickname is The Salvador.

On 16 June 1932 the club was officially founded with the name Union Sportive Musulmane Blidéenne, and began competing in the Third Division League Football Association of Algiers.

They played their first official match on 24 September 1933 in the first round of the North African Cup.
