USNS Triumph

USNS Triumph (T-AGOS-4) is a Stalwart-class ocean surveillance ship formerly of the United States Navy.

[1] As of May 2015, Triumph was held as a reserve asset for spare parts for sister ships General Rudder and State of Michigan.

[2][3] Stalwart class ships were originally designed to collect underwater acoustical data in support of Cold War anti-submarine warfare operations in the 1980s.

In 1998, the US Congress authorized the sale of Triumph,[4] without the towed sonar array, to the Philippines for $11,370,000.

[6] The Stalwart-class ocean surveillance ships had maximum speeds of 11 knots (20 km/h; 13 mph).
