USS PC-1140 was a PC-461-class submarine chaser built for the United States Navy during World War II.
After initial shakedown in Miami, Florida, PC-1140 escorted convoy runs in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean until early June 1944, when she was sent for an overhaul in Norfolk, Virginia.
For the remainder of World War II, she operated on patrol and escort duty between the Italian and French coasts.
After VE Day, PC-1140 returned to the United States, arriving in Key West, Florida on 14 June 1945.
Her name was struck from the Naval Vessel Register on 1 July 1960 and she was disposed of by Navy sale in March 1961.
