Uerkheim

Uerkheim is a municipality in the district of Zofingen in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.

Uerkheim has an area, as of 2009[update], of 7.1 square kilometers (2.7 sq mi).

[8] The age distribution, as of 2008[update], in Uerkheim is; 117 children or 9.1% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 156 teenagers or 12.1% are between 10 and 19.

[8] In the 2007 federal election the most popular party was the SVP which received 52.66% of the vote.

In the federal election, a total of 464 votes were cast, and the voter turnout was 47.0%.

[8] From the 2000 census[update], 199 or 15.7% were Roman Catholic, while 881 or 69.5% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.
