Uhlířské Janovice (German: Kohljanowitz) is a town in Kutná Hora District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The attribute Uhlířské was added to distinguish it from other places with the same name and refers to the charcoal burners (Czech: uhlíři) that lived here.
The highest point is the hill Dračí skála at 516 m (1,693 ft) above sea level.
The town was owned by the Sternberg family until 1750, when it was merged with the Rataje estate.
[9] The Church of Saint George in Malejovice is originally an early Gothic building, which probably dates from the 13th century.
