Unified Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics

The Unified Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics (Russian: Объединенная команда на Летних Олимпийских играх 1992) in Barcelona, Spain, was a joint team consisting of twelve of the fifteen former Soviet republics that chose to compete together; the states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania competed separately.

It competed under the IOC country code EUN (from the French Équipe unifiée).

[6] The women earned two bronze medals, one from Natalia Valeeva's individual performance and another from the team competition.

In the men's competition, however, defending bronze medallist Vladimir Echeev fell in the round of 16 along with one of the other male Unified Team members, while Vadim Chikarev advanced to the quarterfinal before being defeated.
