Canada was the defending champion and again beat the Iroquois Nationals in the final, this time 15–14 in overtime.

At the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, Team USA came very close to reaching the gold medal game.

In the bronze medal game, Team USA beat the Czech Republic 16–7.

The roster for the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship was announced on July 25, 2019.
