Untamed Woman (あらくれ, Arakure) is a 1957 Japanese drama film directed by Mikio Naruse.

Donald Richie and Joseph L. Anderson found in protagonist Ōshima "one of the strongest characters Naruse ever created", but also an out-of-place "postwar strain of neuroticism" in Hideko Takamine's interpretation.

[4] Untamed was Japan's submission to the 30th Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee.
