Unusual Suspects is an American television documentary program on Investigation Discovery.

[1] It showcases many of the most shocking and difficult cases in law enforcement history, and also sheds light on the investigations that led to the arrest of the culprits.

[2] On June 17, 2016, the show was cancelled after eight seasons, due to notices of termination by Discovery.

[3] In October 2017, a sequel returned to Investigation Discovery, Unusual Suspects: Deadly Intent; Investigation Discovery officially presents it on its website as a new production on its first season.

[4] A second sequel, Unusual Suspects: Welcome To ChildHorror, is in development with three seasons, as it resolves around Children killing their own parents.
