Usa (宇佐市, Usa-shi) is a city located in Ōita Prefecture, Japan.
Under Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Buzen province became the territory of Kuroda Yoshitaka, who constructed Nakatsu Castle.
On April 1, 1955 Kitsuki merged with the villages of Yasaka, Kita-Kitsuki and, Nakarie and was raised to city status.
Towards the end of the war, the airbase was used to launch kamikaze attacks against American forces.
It was subject to B-29 air raids in 1945 which led to the destruction of many of the airfield's facilities and caused the deaths of many soldiers and civilians.
[5] Usa has a mayor-council form of government with a directly elected mayor and a unicameral city council of 21 members.
In terms of national politics, the city is part of the Ōita 3rd district of the lower house of the Diet of Japan.
Usa is a city and products must be labeled by country of origin, making it highly improbable that this would be an adequate loophole.
In addition, any products being imported to the U.S. marked as being "made in USA" would have been flagged.
