Usama bin Abdullah Khayyat (Arabic: أسامة بن عبد الله خياط), born in 1956 in Mecca, is a Saudi Islamic scholar, imam and preacher.
[1] Khayyat was born on 12 February 1956 (corresponding to 1 Rajab 1375 AH), in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
[2] He obtained Ph.D. from the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Umm Al-Qura University in Mecca, in 1988 (1408 AH).
The Ph.D. thesis was entitled Arabic: الحافظ العراقي وكتابه التقييد والإيضاح, lit.
'(Al-Hafiz Al-Iraqi and his book Al-Taqeed and Al-Idah)'.
