Some of the instances of course programs range from Agriculture, Arts & Humanities, Journalism & Mass Communication, Computers & Information Technology, Law and Business Sciences , and even management studies.
The University Chairman, Hemant Goyal held the accolades has always motivated us to do better in the field of education and to provide a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment for our students.
The university also conferred D Litt degree (honoris causa) to Anand Kumar, founder of Super 30 who is also a recipient of the Padma Shri award.
He lauded Usha Martin University for promoting academic excellence by maintaining and upholding discipline, dedication and moral values.
The Governor also appreciated the contribution of UMU in the progress and development of the state and called upon the degree recipients to work for the society and the nation.
He also highlighted other major developments including eminent personalities, publications, research collaborations, awards conferred and student activities and their placements.
A glittering medal and award ceremony was also part of the convocation, with Koyalada Dipankar, Deepshikha, G Jaya Lakshmi, Megha Kumari, Raj Soni, Mary Jarman Ekka, Pandey Abhishek Nath Roy, Krishna Kumar Singh, Jagrut Roy, Mohammed Yasir Arafat, Roshan Raj Prajapati, Indrajit Yadav, Krishna Kuma Singh, Ghazala Parveen, Abhinav Kumar Gupta, Govinda Giri, Rakhi Kumari, Puran Boipai and Chandan Kumar receiving gold medals for their outstanding academic performance.
