Vârteșcoiu is a commune located in Vrancea County, Muntenia, Romania.

It is composed of six villages: Beciu, Faraoanele, Olteni, Pietroasa, Râmniceanca, and Vârteșcoiu.

The commune is located in the central part of the county, on the right bank of the Milcov River.
