Vače (pronounced [ˈʋaːtʃɛ]; German: Waatsch[2]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Litija in central Slovenia.

The area is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Sava Statistical Region.

Another important find was the Vače belt-plate (pasna spona z Vač), also discovered in Klenik.

The local parish church is dedicated to Saint Andrew and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ljubljana.

It was built in 1844 on the site of an earlier building that was destroyed by fire.
