Vaccinium boninense

Vaccinium boninense (ムニンシャシャンボ, Munin-shashanbo) is a species of flowering plant in the family Ericaceae that is endemic to the Bonin Islands, Tōkyō Metropolis, Japan.

[1] Vaccinium boninense is an evergreen shrub that grows to a height of approximately 1 metre (3 ft 3 in).

[3] After flowering, from January to April, it produces small spherical fruits 6 millimetres (0.24 in) in diameter that turn black as they ripen.
