Valašská Bystřice is a municipality and village in Vsetín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic.

The highest point is the Tanečnice mountain at 912 m (2,992 ft) above sea level.

The whole territory of Valašská Bystřice lies in the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area.

The only protected cultural monument is a pair of tombstones of border guards from the end of the 18th century.
