Valpiana is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Massa Marittima, province of Grosseto, in the area of the Colline Metallifere.
At the time of the 2001 census its population amounted to 453.
It was an ancient industrial centre of medieval Maremma and its first furnaces were built by Tollo degli Albizzeschi, father of more known saint Bernardino degli Albizzeschi.
The industrial centre was closed in 1885.
