Van Syckel, New Jersey

[1][2] The Van Syckel Corner District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

[3] Reynolds was later convicted and executed by hanging in Morristown for counterfeiting money on September 17, 1773.

Van Syckel next to the tavern was built in 1829 with Greek Revival style.

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 8, 1979 for its significance in agriculture, architecture, and commerce.

[3] The Norton Methodist Episcopal Church was built in 1828, rebuilt in 1855, and renovated in 1881 and 1908.
