Vasile Balan (born 7 February 1992) is a Romanian rugby union player.

He plays as a prop for professional SuperLiga club Steaua București.

Vasile Bălan started playing rugby as a youth for a school based local Romanian club, CSS Bârlad, in his native city of Bârlad.

[2][3][4][5] Bălan is also selected for Romania's national team, the Oaks, making his international debut during the Week 5 of 2019 Rugby Europe Championship in a match against the Zwarte Duivels / Diables Noirs on 17 March 2019.
