Vatara Thana is a thana of Dhaka city, the capital of Bangladesh.

Its neighbourhoods include Sayeed Nagar,[4] Basundhara Residential Area, Vatara, Solmaid, Nurerchala, Khilbarirtek, Kalachandpur, and Kuril.
