Vayxır (also, Vaykhyr) is a village and municipality in the Babek District of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan.

It is located 21 km in the north from the district center, on the left bank of the Nakhchivanchay River.

[2] Govurqala - is the fortress on the left bank of the Nakhchivanchay River, near the same named village of the Babek region.

The walls are built with the gently sculpted large rocks and was fixed with mud of clay.

[1] Old Vaykhyr - the settlement of the Middle Ages in the 1 km east of the same named village of the Babak district.

Glazed pots, mostly in brown, also white, yellow, green color were decorated with exquisite taste in the geometric and plant form.
