Veľký Biel (Hungarian: Magyarbél) is a village and municipality in western Slovakia in Senec District in the Bratislava Region.

The name comes from Slavic beľ (bělь): whiteness, "glistening place" - mud, swam (compare i.e. with Old Polish biel or Russian biľ /dialect/).
