9X was an Indian Hindi general entertainment channel based in Mumbai.

The channel was launched on 12 November 2007 in India as the flagship of the INX Network.

On 20 April 2010, Zee Enterprises confirmed that it had secured an in-principle approval from its board for acquisition of 9X, under a Scheme of Arrangement, subject to appropriate statutory and regulatory approvals.

[5] On 29 April 2010, ZEE Network's board of directors has approved the Scheme of Arrangement between ZEEL and 9X Media, former owners of 9X.
