Velika Varnica (pronounced [ˈʋeːlika ˈʋaːɾnitsa]) is a settlement in the Haloze Hills in eastern Slovenia.

It lies on the border with Croatia in the Municipality of Videm.

The area is part of the traditional region of Styria.
