Velike Poljane (pronounced [ˈʋeːlikɛ pɔˈljaːnɛ]; German: Großpölland[2]) is a village in the Municipality of Škocjan in southeastern Slovenia (the traditional region of Lower Carniola).

Within the municipality, it belongs to the Village Community of Zagrad.
