(1969) Venturia is a genus of fungi in the family Venturiaceae.
[1] First identified in 1882,[2] species in the genus are plant pathogens.
[4] Anamorphs were historically represented in the genus Fusicladium.
[3] The genus was circumscribed by Pier Andrea Saccardo in Syll.
[5] The genus name of Venturia is in honour of Carlo Antonio Maria Venturi (1805–1864), who was an Italian mycologist.
